For God Knows I Have Sinned

I beg of you, forgiveness for I have sinned.
Transgressions are many and time is of essence,
like the mighty force in the storm’s wind.

Hear not what they say, for what they say
nears not the truth. Shadows in gilded
mirrors dance with the devil again.
Whispers and lies reveal their unholy
sins.

Righteousness can only exist where
pure snow white truth abides!
Anything else is lies, tainted
and sour… like a red tide.

I shall pay for my sins, but need not
the hypercritical stares and righteous
critic’s evil grins.

For God knows I have sinned!
