Thank You God

Photobucket

I want to thank you God above,
For your tender mercy and your love.
I see the radiance of all your goodness every day,
As I move around going my way.

You gave us the flowers, and the blue sky,
You gave us rain; some say these are the tears you cry.

You gave us eyes, and I thank you for this,
Without eyes, all your beauty I would miss.
You gave your son life for all of us,
So in you we would put our trust.

I thank you for the gift, to bring life into this world,
To be blessed with a precious little boy or girl.

I thank you for the sense of smell,
And the beautiful sunlight as well.

You gave us the moonlight to light our way in the dark,
You gave us the hummingbirds, eagles, and the lark.

When I feel so alone, I know you are always with me.
And I wonder, without you, where would I be?

I thank you for the land, so we would have food to eat,
You gave us the animals, so we would have the pleasure of meat.

You know me and I am not perfect, and this you can see,
I want to thank you for always loving me.

I thank you, and will always be indebted,
I will not give human man the credit.
I acknowledge who our blessings comes through,
I love you God and I thank you.
