Our souls are stirred, something seems wrong
Weakness has grown a team once strong
A tear has all but torn apart
empty the cause inside our hearts
There is sadness, where joy once lived
We give our all, what we could give
Yet all seems right at least to one
Who leads a team coming undone
Some stripped of things they once enjoyed
Hurt reigns supreme, feelings theirs toyed
By hands they shake and cheeks they kiss
Thoughts of leaving is now amidst
How do you tell someone who feels
they know whats best and does appeal
To those his flock who will soon stray
away from where they use to pray
The classes taught seem to confuse
more than they teach and one can use
Leaving blank stares upon one's face
cramming courses as if a race
If things don't change all will be lost
Our congregation will pay the cost
and praise without like a bad dream
