The signals came across the ether
Traced to the depths of outer space
They came in every language
Spoken by the Human Race
They carried peaceful greetings
From those exiled from Old Earth
They told of compassion and concern
For their planet of special birth
They retold ancient history
Of the split of Faerie and Man
But now they are returning
To help rebuild while they can
Before the unleashed forces
Of destruction have got beyond control
They told of how in partnership
They could remake the Mother whole
The gray ships are slowly coming
The Milky Way is in their sight
And they told of the sign of peace
Which would brighten up one night
Mabs and her Faerie escort
With olive branches in hand
Would ride the Great Dragons
Across the skies of every land
As a sign of peace
And maybe of course
A gentle reminder
Of their force
On every video screen
The whole world wide
Appeared a smiling Mabs
With her consort by her side
Extending the hand
Of renewed and fraternal greeting
And foretelling of the rebirth
That would spring from this new meeting
