In Spending TimeI do not like to waste time, Since I think it is a crime; Some just like to be idle, Unaware as minds dwindle. Sitting in front of the TV, As mind-numb robots see; Influenced by other thought, Forgetting what God wrought. So the direction that I view, Clearly shows which avenue; The future we are headed in, Filled with iniquity and sin. Our perspective is in dismay, Exactly how far we can stray; Written in the Word of God, Becoming so fatally flawed. So it is just a matter when, Christ will return and then; Confronted with His wrath, In walking the wrong path. Richard Newton Sherrer Copyright ©2006 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
