Self-CenterednessYou may have known, A person that is alone; Someone that thinks, How life really stinks. You may know the type, Who grumble and gripe; Never a positive thought, Or any solutions sought. They usually take pleasure, In their earthly treasure; For wants turn into need, In having so much greed. But uncertainty of strife, Why it fills up their life; Feeling dazed and confused, Like they are being abused. They just do not know Christ, And why He was sacrificed; If they only learned to share, With God everything in prayer. Richard Newton Sherrer Copyright ©2006 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
