Stormy Lives

Why do bad things happen to the good?
When it is the good things that should;
Is it a punishment for a deed of sin?
Or maybe of a thought deep within.

We are faced with many storms in life.
Trials and tribulations filled with strife;
But do not think of God causing shame,
It is actually to help us grow I proclaim.

For God is trying to make us strong,
Trying to keep us from going wrong;
In helping us learn how to persevere,
Through His laws that we hold so dear.

The storms may seem to be so rough,
Tempting to give up in having enough;
Just remember through life as to pursue,
Bad times never last but tough people do.

Never forget that God is always there,
In helping you through times of despair;
Bringing you encouragement and hope,
As He gives guidance while you cope.
