 Family Time
Family Time

Where has the time gone?
What have I done wrong?
So many wasted moments
Spent doing my own thing
How much happiness
Does this really bring?

Twenty four hours in a day
Whether I sleep, work or play
Where does the time go?
Doesn't it seem like a crime?
What has happened?
To my precious family time

I'm living an illusion
I need to find a solution
Will I ever slow down?
Am I on the wrong track?
The time I lose
I can't ever get back

When will I see the light?
I have all day and night
Instead of watching TV
Or playing video games
I'll try spending time together
And learn to entertain

I'm chasing others dreams
At least that's what it seems
I'll try spending some evenings
Together as we dine
Get to know each other
Bring back my family time
