Spring has SprungIt is so nice to take a long walk, Not even worrying about a clock; Just strolling under a sunny sky, While seeing a bird flying high. On the pathway buds on the trees, As I feel a warm and gentle breeze; Chirping of a bird up on a limb, And looking mighty fit and trim. A rustling sound in some brush, Scampering off while in a rush; A startled squirrel must had feared, As the sound of my footsteps neared. Such a feeling as spring has sprung, Refreshing to make me feel young; Like renewing my hopes and dreams, Just as my soul Jesus Christ redeems. Spring gives everything a fresh start, As He cleanses sins from my heart; So my spirit can once again bloom, And be forever free from the tomb.
