Returning Spring
Such a lovely spring day,
Being blessed in this way;
Hearing church bells ring,
As the birds start to sing.
Blossom buds on the trees,
For now past the last freeze;
As they come back to life,
Surviving the winter strife.
You can sense a new start,
While feeling in your heart;
God gives another chance,
In forgiving a circumstance.
All we ever have to do is ask,
When admitting to the task;
For God is faithful and just,
If in Him you put your trust.
Just as when the birds return,
Migrating from their sojourn;
Must we come back to God,
Fixing where we are flawed.
