 Heaven

Heaven

As the sun dances off your golden hair
And the butterflies worship your beauty
I sit and stare and thank God you are mine
Whatever did you see in me?

You look over at me and you smile
Those innocent eyes of yours reach out to me
They touch me and I feel like I've never felt before
Without saying a word you set me free

The shadow of your body against the grass
Is like a figurine in my many dreams
I feel like I've died and gone to heaven
This feeling I feel is so serene

You move on in for your final approach
You reach out your hands and you caress my face
The softness of your skin is like satin sheets
As we lay together in sweet embrace

You kiss my lips I feel the hair on my skin
Tingle with the passion of love
We lay there underneath the blue sky
Staring at the clouds above

We don't say a word but our actions speak loud
Nothing in this world can tear us apart
We were destined for each other it was meant to be
As we give to each other our hearts

You tell me you love me without saying a word
Our two minds have become one
We listen to the sweet songs of the birds
As our bodies are warmed by the sun

The day turns into night and the stars fill the sky
We lay there side by side
It's at that moment that I finally realize
One day you will be my bride
