Also Lord and Father
A joy in the morning to awaken,
Knowing that I am not forsaken;
God is my confidant and guide,
And in who's Word that I abide.
I know He not steer me wrong,
Through out all the day long;
Since He has shed His grace,
While assured by His embrace.
God showers me with His love,
From His Kingdom whence of;
Since He truly cares for me so,
Within His Word for this I know.
His Holy Word I'll never doubt,
For it tells me what life is about;
As I travel this one and the next,
No matter how much perplexed.
And so I talk to Him everyday,
While on bended knees to pray;
Not just my God but my Father,
Also Lord and Almighty Creator.
