This Road of Life
This Road of Life
While walking this road of life
I've been faced with many a strife
I've fallen deep into the holes
That try to consume my soul
But I get back onto my feet
I'm not one who readily retreats
I stand tall and give it my best
I am ready to take on the test
I learn from the risks that I take
I grow stronger from the mistakes that I make
I rely on my faith in my God
With Him this path I will trod
The legacy that I would like to leave
Is that I helped others to believe
To let go and let Christ be my guide
It is He who came and He died
My actions are what tells the story
I live to give God all the glory
And when the time comes for me to leave
Remember there's no reason to grieve
