Road of LifeYour life is just like a road, That no other traffic flowed; Having no speed limit signs, No worry of speeding fines. Just keep on driving straight, No red lights making you wait; Pavement so nice and smooth, Eases your driving as to soothe. But with things to look out for, Potholes or maybe even a detour; That easily lead you go astray, Off of your Heavenly highway. It can get bumpy on a curve, Hazards causing you to swerve; You can smash into a guardrail, Which maybe a shortcut to Hell. But in allowing Christ to drive, He ensures that you safely arrive; Where streets of gold are paved, And you know that you are saved.
