A Compassionate GodWhile being stuck in a traffic jam, I started thinking about how I am; Far from it should ever cause deceit, And by no means filled with conceit. I do consider myself fair and just, Putting into the Lord all my trust; My priority is for putting Him first, As His Holy Word quenches my thirst. When troubles seem to come my way, I go to our Heavenly Father and pray; Being such a comfort for to share, For relieving the burden that I bear. Prayer is not just for the tribulation, Rather also being for the jubilation; Thanking Him for all that He has done, Especially salvation through His Son. I will humbly kneel and show respect, To the Creator who does not neglect; And continues to show that He cares, On my survival through toils and snares.
