Stairway to Heaven
Last night I had a dream,
So vividly real as it seem;
Of some stairs in the sky,
My curiosity urged to try.
Start climbing up the stairs,
Felt release of my despairs;
Anxiety gone with relief,
That lifted a burden of grief.
I climbed up higher still,
Desired under my free will;
It went up through a cloud,
An image stood in a shroud.
His arms spread open wide,
Then said He was my guide;
We walked up some more,
Until reaching a golden door.
Then the door open swung,
And uttered with His tongue;
No more would I have to roam,
Closing with "Welcome Home".
