My Good ShepherdWhen I can hear His voice, My heart starts to rejoice; Knowing He does not sleep, As He is watching His sheep. I follow to wherever He goes, From where still water flows; To the green fertile pasture, For my needs He will nurture. I crave nothing and do not fear, In knowing He is always near; He comforts me with His rod, For certain that He is my God. He restores my soul in His name, After repenting guilt and shame; Even through death's dark vale, I follow along the righteous trail. I fear not the evil as it passes by, Since He commands I will comply; For He shall give me eternal life, Dwelling in His home without strife.
