MISSING YOU

MISSING YOU

There is rain in my heart
Every time we are apart
I long to be with you
All alone, just we two.

Time is never ending
I keep on just pretending
That next minute I`ll see you
So I`ll no longer be blue.

It never lasts very long,
`Cos I can`t hear that song,
That my heart sings on high
Every time that you walk by.

I long to see your smile
If only for a while,
To look upon your face
All my fears you will chase.

Just to have a moment in time
You and I, for a little while,
Let all time stand still
We`d be together, what a thrill.

We`d go to the point of no return
For this, we do longingly yearn,
Take pleasure in each other while we may,
For when will the next time be? Who can say.

We`d hold each other tight
Long into the dark night,
Hanging on to every word
Knowing we`re not over heard.

We`d whisper things that matter
We wouldn`t use idle chatter
It would be, I love and miss you
How much? If you only knew.

I love you with every heart beat
I want to hold you each time we meet
Your kisses on my lips so gentle
The longing for you drives me mental.

Although we travel side by side
The gap between us is so wide
At some point it must surely narrow
Then we can use Cupid`s arrow.

Our moment in time has now ended
And it went as we intended
Loving to such intensity
Our love has such density.

There is rain in my heart
Once again we are apart
But I will live on what has been,
In my memory, Oh what a scene.

Two lovers, loving to the full
But `oh that tide` it will surely pull
To break apart water from sand
As your love slips from the land.

It will return with no doubt
Not silent, but with a shout
`Oh Lover`, come love me again
Renew our passion, so it won`t wane.
