Thinking of Others
We live life by trial and error,
For following our own desire;
Rather than as God has said,
We do our own thing instead.
God has set up certain rules,
As not to be a bunch of fools;
Showing us how to live in peace,
Keeping hostilities from increase.
Yet personally out for greed,
For oneself desire to succeed;
That affects a person in attitude,
Causing them to even act rude.
So it makes me wonder why,
Not looking out for the other guy,
Christ told us to love one another,
Treating them just like a brother.
Think of others before you do,
Your actions affecting them too;
Putting yourself in their shoes,
So as everyone pays their dues.
