Common Sense
Never swim in a murky sea,
Knowing not what is below;
Of the consequences for thee,
Hidden dangers to and fro.
Never stand on a rocky ledge,
Since it might not be safe;
And maybe slip off the edge,
If it ever cracks or chafe.
Never walk down an alleyway,
While in the darkest of night;
You finding yourself as prey,
For a mugger at his delight.
Never sleep in Sunday morn,
Or doing an internet search;
Wasting time looking at porn,
When you should be in church.
We need to use common sense,
While living through these days;
But do not be building a fence,
Blocking God to give Him praise.
