A Faith of One
Some ask what faith am I?
Responding in asking why;
Of One faith and one God,
For to honor and to laud.
It is Christ in my belief,
Giving salvation for relief;
Whoever believes within,
Shall never perish of sin.
Even in the midst of strife,
I know I have eternal life;
It is just a temporary stay,
As long as I do not stray.
But Christ will handle that,
Not rejecting me out flat;
If I repent from my heart,
That gives me a fresh start.
So my faith is under one,
God the Father and the Son;
Along with the Holy Spirit,
I am assured what I inherit.
