We live our lives in toil and strain,
As some always seem to complain;
Their patience just can not endure,
What the future may have in store.
A young mind especially goes about,
As it is growing raising some doubt;
It still has not learned the rationale,
What is good or bad for one's morale?
As others take life as a grain of salt,
Not taking blame as being their fault;
Acting as though they could care less,
As with any regrets unable to express.
Life is not fair but God is so good,
Many seem to have misunderstood;
Even though God does have a plan,
He gave us free will to do as we can.
We continue to travel the road of life,
To detour about tribulations and strife;
Since we know that a better life waits,
Once we have reached Heaven's gates.
