Christ Abides Within
I wake up today feeling good,
Having no doubt that I would;
For I know that Christ is near,
Helping me through every fear.
I stay calm and cool no alarm,
Since He protects from all harm;
His presence gives me peace,
Persevering while others cease.
For it is patience that persists,
With His diligence that assists;
And for helping me to excel,
As long as He is within to dwell.
Letting Him to abide in me,
He has the opportunity to see;
When I am about to go astray,
That would cause me to disobey.
And so I abide within His Word,
That keeps me continue forward;
Journey the straight and narrow,
With fresh hope for the morrow.
