Waiting for Anew
I often wonder when,
Will be the last amen;
As Christ comes down,
To reclaim His crown.
I know Scriptures say,
In not knowing the day;
Or what hour it will be,
When He be seeing me.
For it is not out of fear,
Rather as in good cheer;
To finally see His face,
As He sheds His grace.
That to be the day I sing,
Taking me under His wing;
Knowing not to be afraid,
As a new world is made.
For that will be the time,
Of no more sin and crime;
With a body blemish free,
That will last an eternity.
