A Foggy Trip
The fog rolled in overnight,
And was obscuring my sight;
Making driving really intense,
Since it was extremely dense.
But I still continued to drive,
With hopes on staying alive;
As other drivers to take care,
On the highway for to share.
It was hard enough to see,
Fifty meters in front of me;
Just barely to see the lines,
Too hazy in seeing the signs.
Scarcely seeing lights ahead,
Brightly flashing blue and red;
Turns out to be an accident,
I am not feeling too confident.
I firmly grab the steering wheel,
As I pray to God with much zeal;
Protect me as I drive on the road,
Returning safely to my abode.
