Because Wolfman, dear Wolfman is ruled
By the power of the moon,
For just those few hours,
All over too soon
Wolfman dear Wolfman
Sits by my feet
And while we are together
My life is complete.

He arrives so very stealthily,
Sliding in through the night,
His naked muscular body
Such an arousing sight;
And we kiss and we love
As though each time was the last
And suddenly and inevitably
Our time is irretrievably passed
And he leaves as he came
Leaving me naked and alone.
One minute he is there
The next he is gone,
I wonder where he is
In his other state?
Does he have a litter?
Does he have a mate?
I visit the wolf pack
Down there at the zoo
I feel I am drawn there
But what good does it do;
I feel no bond,
I see no sign,
Wonder which of that pack,
If any, is mine.
I return to my loneliness
Counting days until soon
At last it is the day
Of the approaching full moon.

Wolfman dear Wolfman
Sits by my feet
And while we are together
My life is complete;
For just those few hours,
All over too soon,
Because Wolfman, dear Wolfman is ruled
By the power of the moon.
