 Who...isn't  that a Hell of a Shame
Who…left their loved ones crying in the night?
Who…left their homes far out of sight?
Who…made the dreaded ten thousand mile flight?
Who… faced the enemy in the dark jungle night?

Who…watched their buddies bleed and die?
Who…watched the body bags as they piled them sky high?
Who…held their head in their hands and cried and cried?

Who…did they blame for a war that went from bad to worse?
Who…did they spit on, shout and curse?
Who…did they send in straight jackets to the head nurse?

Who's…life will forever be changed?

Yours and mine…now isn't that a hell of a shame?
