Rainy Day Blahs
I got the rainy day blahs,
And not sure of the cause;
As the rain pours outside,
A bug is in my body to abide.
I wish I knew I had to lure,
I have no idea not for sure;
Who or what invited within,
But maybe penalty for my sin.
It started very early this morn,
As a stomach ache was born;
And I rushed into the bath,
Feeling the fury of its wrath.
Now I am being very sincere,
The diarrhea was real severe;
Being like that nearly all day,
As I sit on the throne and pray.
I pray to God give me a break,
Especially now do not forsake;
Not wasting time on His work,
Dispelling what wants to lurk.
Now I feel the need to praise,
For the virus no longer stays;
Aches and pains nearly gone,
Feeling as if to sleep till dawn.
