 ramblings and things

Quickstepstepstepstep

I danced with this alien
A tentacle in each hand
As she waved the other seven
To the beat of the band

I danced so very carefully
Foe only heaven knows
The penalty for standing
On her toes her toes her toes

I had to dodge all twenty
Yet make my movements neat
Have you ever danced a quickstep
Choreographed for six feet

When the dancing was over
I looked her in the eye
That one placed at her front
The back too far away to try

I thanked her for the pleasure
And as her wattles rose
She enfolded me to her
And gently bit my nose

It didn't hurt for long
Was worth it for the chance
Of leading an alien female
At the diplomatic dance

I danced with this alien
In a quickstep of glee
And we enjoyed our dance
That alien lady and me
