Ceasing Hate
When will there be peace?
When will the wars cease?
How long must we wait,
Stopping discontent and hate?
I have to let out a big sigh,
While I merely wonder why;
So many can not find love,
That is showered from above.
Since it just boggles my mind,
Of the entire race of mankind;
So many desire to do wrong,
As they just can not get along.
But no one admits to their fault,
For responsibility as they ought;
Pointing fingers for the blame,
At someone by another name.
Well it will not be very long at all,
Everyone experiences a downfall;
A valuable lesson we shall learn,
When Jesus makes His return.
