Stantasyland: Poetic Verses  by Stanley Victor Paskavich (Author)
Stantasyland is compiled from different times and beliefs in my life; some of the poems go back 30 years. I write about life, self, religion, and spirituality, along with other things. Often I write per perspective. I don't intend to convince, confirm, or condemn with my writings, just possibly stimulate some different lines of thought. I respect anyone who is convinced in their belief and convictions, and/or belief system as long as they don't use it as a weapon against another.

THE ROAD HOME by WAYNE SNOW
A view of the world through a poets eye of how things not necessarily are, but how I would like them to be. I have written poems in the style of poets such as Tennyson, Poe, Sir Walter Raleigh and Christopher Marlow. Some of my poetry is like an answer to poems written by famous authors. Wayne Snow

Dancing with the Lord  by Judith Johnson Kypta
There are poems I have written within, for everyone.  The main thing I wanted to relay to you, is the "Love" that Jesus Christ has for each and every one of us.  "Dancing With The Lord" would make a great for persons of all ages.  I say this, simply because we need "Jesus" at any age.  The deep meaning written into most of my poetry is that "God" loves us, no matter where we are in life, or what we have done. . .He waits.

Whispers of Faith by Barbara Kasey Smith
This story takes place in the coalmining foothills of West Virginia; the year is 1957. Emily, a fifteen-year-old girl, has to walk about three miles through the woods to catch her school bus. During the winter months it's dark when she leaves to catch the bus and it's dark when she gets home. A young girl went missing two years ago and was never found. This causes Emily to have a terrible fear of walking alone through the woods. She befriends a neighbor's dog, which she names Angel. He waits at an abandoned mine every morning and walks through the woods to the dirt roadway with her. Emily experiences many incidents during her daily walks. Her faith gets her through some terrible occurrences. One snowy winter evening, Emily doesn't return home from school. It's like she's vanishes off the face of the earth. What happens to her? Has anyone seen the neighbor's dog? Did a sexual predator capture Emily? Did she meet danger on her way from school? Has someone killed Emily? This book is full of thrills, suspense and unbelievable encounters, and once you start reading it, you'll want to find out what's happened to Emily.

Patchwork of Rhymes: Smiles and Tears by Debbie Rogers
I've been writing for many years now, but I can only say my inspiration came from the death of my firstborn daughter; I had never written a poem until then. I wasn't even after that a consistent writer; I took writing in spurts, so to speak. In fact I tell everyone I can't just pick up a pen and go to it; I have to be hit over the head with some type of inspiration. Death has been a leading inspiration, as I have written countless poems for funerals for friends' families. But I have never considered myself to be a poet, just a simple rhymer. As I've said, "If I can bring a smile or a tear to those who read my poems then I'm truly happy." Debbie Rogers

Till the End of Forever: Poems of Love and Sorrow by Ron H. Hall
From the moment you read the very first poem till the bittersweet end, you'll be touched by the depth of love and sorrow that Ron Hall expresses through his prose. Left motherless at the age of four, subjected to a life of poverty, alcoholism and hopelessness, Ron found his own answers early on in alcohol, drugs and run-ins with the law. Bolstered by an employer's confidence and the faith of those who loved him, Ron thankfully found sobriety, professional success, and a passion for marathon running. Ron's steadfast determination to achieve life's better rewards resulted in many years of personal riches and well-earned triumph. While fitness and sobriety remained throughout the years, Ron's continued personal losses of love and loved ones, takes his readers on a sweet, sentimental, and often sorrowful journey through his life. Ron's simple, straightforward expression of life's trials and tribulations will capture the very spot in your heart where you too have known of life's love and sorrow.

Word Rider's This and That by George Platt
Wordrider's This and That is a mixture of poems and song lyrics about a range of feelings. Words about love, broken hearts, things that might be silly, and abuse by husband, boyfriend, friend or family member.

I try to convey feelings that might have you touching the sky, walking with a rain cloud overhead, or maybe shaking your hear in wonderment. You might laugh, cry, or be left scratching your head.

My hope is that my poems or songs will let someone know they aren't alone in what they have been through, and that tomorrow can be better. That faith will see you through.

THE WEB OF LIFE.  by Don R. Wilkins
All these poems are about life.  Some poems are about how the writer views life, some about human behavior. There are poems about the challenges of life, aimed at the "just starting out crowd".  Parents, and grandparents get a word also.  Children and adults are encouraged to seek after peace, and morality in life. The Magnificent Seven Astronauts are lauded. Whatever the obvious subject, each poem carries a message, will touch your emotions and bring peace to your spirit.  Life can be mastered; we just need to pay attention. Every poem is upbeat, with encouragement to be shared with anyone. DRW

Some of the names of the characters are real (used with the permission of the individual). If you like intrigue, the battle against injustice, murder, war stories, and surprises, then you will not be able to put this novel down!

Hearts on the Mend by Floriana Hall
It is a known fact that heart disease is the number one killer of women. Understanding that, Floriana Hall feels that she is fortunate to be alive today since she had no apparent symptoms. A chance remark to her family physician led to four different tests before it was found out her main artery was 100 percent blocked, two others ninety-five percent, and one ninety percent. She knew about her genetic factor, but was told that her heart was fine at every doctor's visit.

Floriana experienced a quadruple heart bypass on September 4, 2003. She felt compelled to write her bizarre story to help mankind.

For your enjoyment and information, the author has included other interesting stories of heart patients—men and women—in different circumstances. This book will touch all emotions, and hopefully, save lives.
