Spiritually Sick
We live in a fast moving age,
Instant information the rage;
Everything has to be today,
It must be done straightaway.
We look for purpose in life,
But in haste turns into strife;
For we are moving so quick,
Making us spiritually sick.
Instant messaging on a phone,
E-mail when you hear a tone;
Internet from nearly anywhere,
With information for to share.
Yet with all the technology,
Further away from theology;
Less time to honor and laud,
Our Almighty Triune God.
A need to slow down our pace,
As to seek out for His grace;
For recovering from our ills,
Without taking all those pills.
