Now, as the shadow of death hovers over me,
I ponder the time when my life was young and fancy free.
Days of laughter in the sunshine and nights of dancing and red wine.
Frolicking in the warm surf and loving ever minute of Mother Earth's time.
Without a fear, without a worry, without a disturbing thought in mind.
Living for today and yelling to the world; "The Devil can have tomorrow!"
Oh! If, I could only trade it all back for just one yesteryear.
