my Love
Darkness slips upon me,
His deadly touch so soft.
my soul can hardly feel the pain
as sanity is lost.
slowly, I slide down into
His velvety embrace,
thoughts inside are smothered
as I turn to hide my face.
Darkness is my truest friend,
He cares not if I feel.
nor cares He, if I question
whether all of this is real.
He simply holds me tightly,
as if in a lover's arms,
and though I'm slowly dying,
I feel comforted and warm.
If I wanted, I could pull away,
though, my mind forgets just why,
as Darkness holds me in His arms,
my broken soul slowly dies...
