LONGING

.....Mullion Cove, Cornwall.....

As I sit on the harbour wall
Your name my heart to you does call,
The rolling waves wash on the shore
I miss you like never before.

My tears slowly roll down my face
And disappear without a trace,
The ocean floor`s where they are bound
Like my heart, in tears, is drowned.

The pain of missing you is strong
My days are lonesome and so long,
Wish the tide would wash you my way
In your loving arms I would lay.
