To Fly
I look up into the sky,
Wishing I could fly;
And be able to share,
With birds in the air.
Just float in the breeze,
Way up above the trees;
Giving me such a view,
In a sky that is so blue.
As the wind takes me,
Places that I could see;
A far and distant land,
At a beach in the sand.
Life might sound great,
But then again just wait;
It was not in God's plan,
For wings to be on man.
He gave us all a goal,
Preparing for our soul;
In joining Him someday,
In His home for to stay.
