Stolen Memories
Time just steals away,
A precious moment;
Each and every day,
To what had it meant.
Good times fade away,
Leaving nothing behind;
While bad times stay,
Sticking in your mind.
Memories of the years,
Sorrows from the past;
Regrets bring on fears,
And seem to always last.
While joy spread wings,
Flying off with pleasure;
Vanishing of glad tidings,
And stolen the treasure.
But Jesus changes the tide,
When cleansing your heart;
By allowing Him to abide,
And He shall never depart.
