WHY CAN`T

WHY CAN`T?

Why Can`t�
        All the nations of the world live in peace?
        We need to save lives, therefore, we need peace.

Why Can`t�
        All the people be kind to one another?
        Not enemies, but be like a brother.

Why Can`t�
        We forgive people who have done us wrong?
        Why don`t we all try hard to get along.

Why Can`t�
        We greet everyone with a nice smile?
        We should all try it for a little while.

Why Can`t�
        We all pull together and stand strong?
        We`d then counteract just what was wrong.

Why Can`t�
        We hold out our hand in a friendly way?
        Hello and welcome is what we could say.

        Fighting bring wars, death, loss and, therefore, grief
        Don`t let our happiness be so brief.
