Poetic Verses Of Love And Sorrow
"Many Years Ago"
Many years a go
When I was young
A different life
Had just begun
Looking to the future
So much time ahead
Yet I woke one morning
How fast the years had fled
As I looked in the mirror
I saw a different face
For I had moved on
To another place
How hard it is
Letting go of the past
Yet we all know
When it's over at last
The trick in life
Is letting go
When the time comes
Then you'll know
So enjoy the present
Make a new start
But keep the memories
Buried in your heart.
