A New Day
Rejoice and be glad,
Please do not be sad;
The rising of the sun,
A new day has begun.
The sun shines bright,
As the morning light;
Hits the morning dew,
Tiny rainbows I view.
While the birds sing,
A joy that they bring;
Deep within my heart,
Painting a work of art.
For the Lord has made,
The darkness to fade;
A new day He had blest,
After a good night rest.
His will for us to survive,
On earth to remain alive;
It is why we need to pray,
Thanking for a new day.
