The Cloud
As I gaze up into the skies,
So pleasing unto my eyes;
With such a shade of blue,
Has come into my view.
And a floating puffy cloud,
In front of the sun to shroud;
Looked sort of like a cross,
Recalling who suffered a loss.
How can any of us forget,
The one had paid our debt;
Jesus Christ was crucified,
Hanging there until He died.
But because of God He lives,
And exactly why He forgives;
If we confess to all of our sin,
And allow Him to abide within.
The cloud reminds of His return,
And the salvation that we earn;
He comes for His throne to claim,
Inflict judgment on who to blame.
