Episode III

She spoke to me with silence
Just by a gesture or by a look
An emotive signal language
Clear as words in a text book
I could feel the tension rising
An almost crackling in the air
And before I even knew it
I was standing by her chair
I reached down
Took her hand
Gently pulled
Her to a stand
Cheek to cheek we danced
Not a space between
Bodies tightly moulded
Careless of being seen
She moved to my direction
In a dance of utter trust
Responding so completely
To those signs of my lust
I led her to my room
Away from public sight
And body worshipped body
All through that special night
We never spoke a word
Though that room was full of sound
Passion having its own language
That spilled flowed sighed around
Each sound fading
Yet before it was gone
Being joined and complemented
By an equally passionate one
Until just before that dawn
I know that I at least slept
To awake so utterly alone
I just sat there and wept
Was she as real
As she seemed
Or was my night
Filled with dreams
A very subtle perfume
That lingered in the air
And my rumpled ruined bed
The only signs she was ever there
