Anew Beginning
Let the Lord be praised,
As our rejoicing be raised;
Praise the Lord O my soul,
For He remains in control.
When I take every breath,
I am not worried of death;
Knowing of a life beyond,
Because of a spiritual bond.
After my last breath goes out,
There is not a single doubt;
This body may turn to dust,
A new one waits for my trust.
Man can not give salvation,
Only trials and tribulation;
Causing turmoil and strife,
While living in this life.
But God has set me free,
Opened up my eyes to see;
No longer a captive to sin,
With hope again to begin.
