Revealed Secrets
I give thanks unto our Father,
The Lord of Heaven and earth;
Picking me up when I falter,
And knowing my true worth.
But He has hid from the eyes,
And not to be within the sight;
Of the prudent and the wise,
Something to shed new light.
He reveals things to the young,
And the pure in spirit instead;
That has no corrupted tongue,
Or defiled thoughts in the head.
Blessed are the eyes that see,
Only through the eyes of God;
Visions that are so pleasantly,
To others be blind and flawed.
For many prophets and kings,
The futurity to see and hear;
But unsure what the future brings,
Because in God they do not fear.
