 Escaping Hell
I hear their pitiful moans of utter despair,
and unbearable misery as they shamefully await
their eternal fate before the Evil One's throne.
I feel the intense heat of the judgment seat,
and smell the noxious, acrid, burning stench of
sulpher coming from their harsh, molten prison.
I hear the evil laughter of winged demons as they
guard their frightened prisoners with
gleaming swords of brilliant flame.
I look upon the poor captured souls with great pity,
and profound sadness as they await their reward for a
life spent in godlessness and self will.
Their heads bow,and their moans become silenced as the
lord of this horrible prison proudly enters.
In the eerie silence sentence is pronounced upon them
one by one,and they are quickly led away,
pushed without mercy through those fiery, smoking gates of
Hell to their just reward of eternal suffering.
I stand in awed amazement at the horrible scene,
and am glad within my heart that I shall not face their
fate for I am a child of the one True King of Glory.
