THE MAN OF MY DREAMS
*~**~~THE MAN OF MY DREAMS~~**~*
He will lift me up emotionally,
He will take my hand and we will flee
To a place where we can both run free,
I will love him and he will love me.
He will take my hand and guide me,
Open my eyes and let me see
All the care and love he can bestow,
Loves me so much he thinks I should know.
He will love me for who and what I am,
He will be my one and only man,
He will fill me full of confidence
There will be no need for pretence.
He will protect me from any harm,
To my life he will bring nothing but calm,
Even be my port in a storm,
He will keep me snug and warm.
To me his true love he will give
For as long as we both shall live,
He`ll love and cherish me for all time
And he will be eternally mine.
Very illusive is what he seems,
That`s `cause he`s only in my dreams,
So that is where he will have to stay
Unless he comes into my life one day.
Too good to be true you may say,
If only I could have my own way,
I`d create a man to fulfill this role
And he would love me heart and soul.
