Preparing for Heaven
Be strong in the grace of Christ,
Jesus the One who was sacrificed;
Seed of David rose from the dead,
Suffered on the cross as He bled.
The One who died for your sin,
A chance to be cleansed within;
And in order to be made sin free,
As Heaven bound for you and me.
But in order for Him to bless,
You must pray as you confess;
Being able to offer and commit,
Your soul onto the Holy Spirit.
God will forgive and forget,
From the past your sinful debt;
But you can not sit and wait,
For tomorrow may be too late.
Our Father knows you very well,
And save you from the depths of hell,
But if you do not take the time,
Then you will pay for your crime.
