I am thirty five she typed
Which was just a trifle naughty
For she was quite a long long way
The other side of forty
Just the age I like he typed
For I am nearly thirty nine
And I just love to chat with one
Whose age is almost mine
She would have died
Is she had only seen
The grin he gave
At just seventeen
For a year or more they chatted
Had an ether net romance
Each swearing they would meet
If they ever got the chance
He grew up very quickly
Using the experience she had taught him
Fell in love with a teenage queen
Who well and truly caught him
Coincidentally
At this stage
She met a man
Of her own age
They eased things off
And gradually parted
And things got back
To where they started
And neither knew
Or was aware
They ‘d been a such disparate pair
I am thirty five she typed
Which was just a trifle naughty
For she was quite a long long way
The other side of forty
