Preparation for Eternity
My hope is that I just might,
Be able to shed some light;
For the faith that you need,
In growing a spiritual seed.
It is so you get a better view,
Of why Christ died for you;
You question and have doubt,
Exactly what life is all about?
Within your flesh do not trust,
For it is merely filled in lust;
Rather put trust in the Lord,
Who spoke truth in His Word.
There is more through a life,
Than for eighty years of strife;
Rather preparation for eternity,
And destination of eventuality.
It depends on how we believe,
Christ our Savior you receive;
And of the wrongs you confess,
For your spirit if God will bless.
