MY MORNING MOMENT

You're not home anymore
In the morning
I miss it
It is like a warning

A warning you're not mine
You'll never be
I'll never get to touch you
Never set these desires free

Your inspiration is for her
Toni straddles those Playgirl thighs
She is your woman
She looks into those cinnamon eyes

I can understand that
It's reality
But when you're home in the morning
It sets something off inside of me

It gives me some hope
Because you go to work too
It gives me some faith
That there are men strong like you

I should draw this from my husband
But I have to draw it from me
That's why when your door is open
It sets some of my hardship free

And when you're not there
The feeling slumbers in my heart
That is right, it gives some room
For my husband to do his part

I have to accept him like he is
He's not like you
He'll never be
But then again, I'm not like Toni

When I'm not so tough
And let him love me
It's a little easier
But I don't let all my resentments be

I have to accept I am the woman
Stronger in many ways
Than any man
That's why I can keep doing all I can

That X chomosone
Gave me a lift
A longevity
A scientific gift

So I keep living day by day
With challenge, commitment, and control
I think positive and pray
Pray for you
Friend, you're in my soul

You're in my soul
You will forever be
Because your kindness touched me
That is the reality.
